Family Law

Family law covers legal relationships within the framework of marriage, civil partnership and kinship, which also include the areas of guardianship, care and tutelage.

We will be happy to help you protect your rights during the conclusion of marriage contracts, in the event of divorce, in maintenance or custody disputes or in case you are exposed to domestic violence.

We inform you about your legal claims, help you to protect your rights even in emotionally difficult situations and advise you preventively.

Divorce

Family law focuses on divorce and its consequences. If you are considering divorce, consult with your lawyer before the separation in order to determine the legal consequences. We will clarify maintenance and custody issues and determine your claims to housing, household effects, joint property and possessions. Also the portion of common debts may not be excluded here.

We provide you with comprehensive information about your rights and obligations and accompany you on the legal path from the separation to the final divorce.

Maintenance claims

Most conflicts arise in connection with the question of maintenance payments. Both the areas of spousal support, child support, pension compensation and equalisation of gains must be examined for legal validity. We help you to assert your claims diplomatically or to fend off exaggerated claims of your ex-partner.

A marriage contract protects both parties in the event of a dispute.

In the event of a divorce, a marriage contract concluded before the marriage is helpful, as many questions are difficult to resolve in the event of a dispute. A marriage contract offers both spouses legal security, since not only the distribution of assets, but also maintenance payments can be determined here already. Under some circumstances, non-marital partnerships should also make legal agreements.

It is best to clarify in advance by means of a marriage contract which regulations are indispensable for you. I will also assist you with questions of maintenance and custody.
